Canvas Regression Reel is offered as open-source software under the MIT License. These terms cover the documentation site and do not replace the license included with the package.

Use of the tool

You are responsible for the pages, games, assets, and environments you choose to test. Only capture content you have permission to access, and protect reports that contain private game imagery.

No guarantee

Visual comparison is evidence, not proof that a game is free of defects. Results depend on deterministic rendering, the configured tolerance, browser version, hardware, masks, and input timing. Review baselines before approving them.

Availability

The site and package may change or become unavailable. The project provides no hosted artifact retention or paid service. Your local copies remain under the license terms that accompanied them.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site or package to violate law, bypass access controls, or capture third-party content without authorization.
